Meet our team

Get to know our experienced and passionate dentists and oral health therapists at 2 Collins Street.

Dr Lisa Brownfoot, Dentist

Lisa graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2010 after studying for a Bachelor of Dental Science (BDS). She was drawn to the dental industry after her own adolescent experience with braces highlighted how varied dentistry could be.

As part of the d-spa family, Lisa has become known for her patient, gentle and understanding approach. She enjoys getting to know her patients and designing effective treatment plans to suit their individual needs, as well as helping people who experience dental anxiety.

Lisa’s dental philosophy is grounded firmly in preventive care. She supplements this with ongoing research and training so she can stay up-to-date with new developments in dentistry. In her free time, Lisa enjoys staying active by playing tennis, soccer and beach volleyball. She also loves attending live music events and theatre productions.

Dr Leila Sarram, Dentist

Dr Sarram graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Dentistry. She was attracted to dentistry because of its creative and challenging environment, giving her the opportunity to mix art and medicine while helping people keep their teeth and gums healthy.

Dr Sarram enjoys being part of the passionate and caring d-spa dental team and helping to raise the bar for delivering a high standard of preventive care. When she’s not busy helping d-spa patients to take care of their oral health, you can find Leila spending time with her family and friends, travelling to new places and taking part in adrenaline-fuelled sport activities.

Reaghan Edmonds, Oral Health Therapist

Reaghan started working as a dental nurse after school and loved the industry so much that she decided to pursue her Bachelor of Oral Health at the University of Adelaide. She completed this and earned the Oral B award for obtaining the highest grade in therapy along the way.

When she isn’t at work trying to help educate people on prevention treatment and early intervention you can find her playing netball, snowboarding and trying to keep up with all the new cafes and restaurants around Melbourne.

Sarah Phoenix, Oral Health Therapist

Sarah joined the d-spa family in 2012 after graduating with a Bachelor of Oral Health (Therapy/Hygiene) from Charles Stuart University. Her desire to enter the dental profession was piqued by positive childhood memories of going to the dentist, as she wanted to help other people of all ages to enjoy the same experience while educating them on good oral hygiene.

Sarah is committed to making each patient feel special and valued in her dental chair by providing the highest quality of care possible. She prides herself on her gentle treatment and ability to build a great rapport with her patients, but the most rewarding part of her job is seeing the positive changes in oral health when patients improve their home care routine. Sarah particularly enjoys working with younger child patients and helping them to understand the importance of dental health.

When not at work, Sarah enjoys dining out and exploring new culinary flavours.
